Introduction
I've probably told most of you that I want to write a Battle Royale fanfic about the class. Yup, in light of recent events (chocolate, anyone?), no teachers etc. are going to be included. Sad, right? Haha... Anyway, I hope you enjoy it. It's a lot more fun if you're in 3T, 'cuz all 25 of us are inside. Plus, there's a 96% chance that you're going to be watching yourself die at some point in the fic.
Foreword
First, I want to thank the inspirational Mr. Jared Tong for his awe-inspiring 'Classroom' fic posted on his blog. If you haven't read it by now, you're probably living in a gutter in Somalia (if they have gutters there). Anyway, this fic is based on the violent horror movie series Battle Royale, which was in turn based on a book by Koushun Takami.
Here's the Amazon.com editorial synpopsis.
This story is not meant to offend, nor was it intended as a literary piece. Purely for entertainment. Things will get gory past Chapter 2. Let the games begin. :)

"Battle Royale, a high-octane thriller about senseless youth violence, is one of Japan's best-selling - and most controversial - novels. As part of a ruthless program by the totalitarian government, ninth-grade students are taken to a small isolated island with a map, food, and various weapons. Forced to wear special collars that explode when they break a rule, they must fight each other for three days until only one "winner" remains. The elimination contest becomes the ultimate in must-see reality television. A Japanese pulp classic available in English for the first time, Battle Royale is a potent allegory of what it means to be young and survive in today's dog-eat-dog world. The first novel by small-town journalist Koushun Takami, it went on to become an even more notorious film by 70-year-old gangster director Kinji Fukusaku."
